Privacy Policy

This policy describes what Market Clerk collects and why. The short version: as little as possible.

Analytics. This site uses (or will use) Umami, a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool. It counts visits and pages without cookies, without fingerprinting, and without sharing data with third parties. No advertising identifiers are collected by us.

Email. If you subscribe to the Sunday Recap or set a ticker alert, your email address is stored by us and synced to our email provider (Kit) solely to send you what you signed up for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops the emails immediately.

Advertising. If and when this site serves ads (e.g., Google AdSense), those ad vendors may use cookies to serve interest-based advertising. This policy will be updated with the specific vendors and opt-out links before any ads run.

Server logs. Standard web-server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) are kept briefly for security and debugging, then rotated away.
